SONY MUSIC SIGNED DEAL WITH DAVIDO

Well, the news is here!
Davido has just signed a new, mouth watering recording deal with Sony Music.
Details of the new deal has not been made public yet, but the HKN boss signed the doted lines a few minutes ago in presence of his manager,Kamal Ajiboye and elder brother, Adewale Adeleke in New York.
He’ll be hosted to a private dinner at Lagos Lounge, New York later tonight to celebrate the new deal.

After 55 Yrs, Switzerland Reopens Consulate Office In Lagos. Fifty-five years after it shut its consulate-general office in Nigeria, the Swiss government inaugurated a new office in Lagos late Tuesday. Declaring the office open, Didier Burkhalter, Switzerland’s federal counselor, and head of foreign affairs, said the Nigerian office is the second in Sub-Saharan Africa. “The opening of this second consulate-general of Switzerland in Sub-Saharan Africa, after Cape Town, marks a very special day for us,” he said. “Switzerland is officially returning to the place where its long-standing friendship with Nigeria started 55 years ago: the exciting city of Lagos! “Ever since the opening of our embassy, Nigeria has been at the heart of our foreign policy on Africa.” He said Nigeria has not lost her importance in his country’s foreign policy. Protesters gathered in several state capitals this week to voice their opposition to stay-at-home orders issued to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus. Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Carolina and Utah -- states led by both Republican and Democratic governors -- have all seen protests in recent days as people grow more concerned about the economic fallout of the coronavirus pandemic. "A small segment of the state is protesting and that's their right," Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat, told CNN. People are getting "stir crazy" at home, she said, and they're worried about paying the bills.
