SONY MUSIC SIGNED DEAL WITH DAVIDO

Well, the news is here!
Davido has just signed a new, mouth watering recording deal with Sony Music.
Details of the new deal has not been made public yet, but the HKN boss signed the doted lines a few minutes ago in presence of his manager,Kamal Ajiboye and elder brother, Adewale Adeleke in New York.
He’ll be hosted to a private dinner at Lagos Lounge, New York later tonight to celebrate the new deal.

Alleged N5.6bn fraud: Supreme Court Orders EFCC to prosecute Ex-Governor Orji Kalu

Orji Kalu, Former Governor of Abia The Supreme Court, Friday 18th, gave the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, the nod to prosecute the former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu on a 107-count corruption charges. The charge borders on the alleged complicity of the erstwhile governor in money laundering and illegal diversion of public funds to the tune of N5.6billion.Kalu was alleged to have perpetuated the fraud while he piloted the affairs of Abia State between 1999 and 2007. Though the anti-graft agency docked him before the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court on July 27, 2007, however, for the past eight years, the defendant, through various interlocutory applications, frustrated moves by the prosecution to open its case against him.The defendant firstly challenged the competence of the charge against him, as well as the jurisdiction of the High Court to hear and determine the case. Nigeria in a difficult, encouraging situation –Tinubu

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, says the country is in a difficult but encouraging situation. Tinubu said although the journey to economic recovery would not be easy, there was hope for the country. This was contained in a speech he delivered on Saturday after receiving a honourary Doctor of Business degree at the 15th- 20th convocation ceremony of the University of Abuja. He said, “Nigeria stands in the corridor between greatness and failure; between progress and collapse; between hope and despair. Our fate depends on whether we would summon the courage to take the bold steps and move in the direction.
