SONY MUSIC SIGNED DEAL WITH DAVIDO

Well, the news is here!
Davido has just signed a new, mouth watering recording deal with Sony Music.
Details of the new deal has not been made public yet, but the HKN boss signed the doted lines a few minutes ago in presence of his manager,Kamal Ajiboye and elder brother, Adewale Adeleke in New York.
He’ll be hosted to a private dinner at Lagos Lounge, New York later tonight to celebrate the new deal.

Nigeria in a difficult, encouraging situation –Tinubu

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, says the country is in a difficult but encouraging situation. Tinubu said although the journey to economic recovery would not be easy, there was hope for the country. This was contained in a speech he delivered on Saturday after receiving a honourary Doctor of Business degree at the 15th- 20th convocation ceremony of the University of Abuja. He said, “Nigeria stands in the corridor between greatness and failure; between progress and collapse; between hope and despair. Our fate depends on whether we would summon the courage to take the bold steps and move in the direction. We must turn our present challenges into opportunities for the reengineering of our nation’s economic challenges.” The APC leader, however, noted that Nigeria needed some fundamental restructuring, both politically and economically, in order to actualise the desired change. Eritrean Marriage Freebies a Hoax – Prof. Kperogi

Nigerian cyberspace was  a brim  with memes and hilarious updates on Tuesday, following an Internet hoax that Eritrean authorities had compelled men in the country to marry more than one wife or risk jail. Most newspapers that fell to the hoax paraphrased an alleged statement issued by the country’s Grand Mufti, assuring the men that the country would pay for their marriage ceremonies and houses. Both on Facebook and Twitter, the story bore the same theme as Nigerians create memes of different shades and style. While some users updated their status to mean they were travelling to the Northeast African country, inferring that they were travelling to pick one of the beauties, others posted the pictures of some of the beauties, believed to be of Eritrean origin.
