Edo; The Unique and Royal Tribe of Benin People

Our Obas are not elected or selected by mere mortals but are ordained in Heaven by spirits.....We do not need adulterated polithifians as Governors and other so called royal families to do their Government magic to select one person and put them on the throne.

Please look at this picture and show me a link between our royalty and that of any other tribe or Kingdom in Africa, that does not come directly from our loins.

Oba Ewuare was the first Oba of Benin that came into contact with the Europeans in 1472 via Ruy de Sequeria. His first Son was our first graduate Oba and we had a Benin, not Ife, embassy in Portugal and a Portuguese Embassy in Benin and not in Oyo or Egba land.
We did international trade with the Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch and the British, when others were still working out the difference between a bush and a bush rat......ibieka!!!

We controlled the West African coastal trade, hence some enemies from the west of present day Nigeria joined the colonial mugus to first wrestle Lagos from us and then invade the empire.

There is NONE on earth that equals the Oba of Benin and we have NEVER been conquered by any African tribe.
How can those that we annexed, wake up from some alcohol or substance induced sleep and declare that their Father is now their son. Okohmwen!!!!!
